Narrative:

After leveloff at FL330, #1 engine was noted in the amber band for vibration. Reducing throttle as per QRH would decrease below amber but still well above #2 engine. Elected to return to ZZZ. Overweight landing at approximately 229000 pounds. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter said the engine was a rolls royce rb-211 and the engine was replaced.
