Narrative:

We performed an hgs CAT IIIA approach to runway 16R at sea. Tower directed us to turn off on taxiway north, which we did. After clearing runway 16L, we turned left to proceed to the gate (RVR was 700-800 ft) onto taxiway B. Well, the first pink spot we came to was spot 11 which immediately blew my mind because that was supposed to be on taxiway B well south of a terminal. Thankfully, I could barely make out another carrier jet at the gate, which I knew was in the X concourse and we safely naved our way to our gate. The problem is that the smgcs commercial chart dated feb/fri/04 (although current) does not match the actual airport markings. I asked the ground controller on the taxi out about that and he said the markings on the airport had been changed, but the 10-9A did not currently reflect it. Maybe an as soon as possible alert, dispatch note/remark for inboundsecond officerutbounds to sea would be in order until the chart makers catch up. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: responsible agencies are now aware of the problem. Temporary low visibility taxi procedures are in effect for sea until the markings and charts are made compatible.

Title: FOLLOWING LOW MINIMUM ARR TO RWY 16R AT SEA, FLT CREW OF B737-300 DISCOVER LOW VISIBILITY HOLDING POINTS ON ARPT SURFACE DO NOT MATCH THOSE ON COMMERCIAL SMGCS LOW VISIBILITY TAXI PAGES.

Narrative: WE PERFORMED AN HGS CAT IIIA APCH TO RWY 16R AT SEA. TWR DIRECTED US TO TURN OFF ON TXWY N, WHICH WE DID. AFTER CLRING RWY 16L, WE TURNED L TO PROCEED TO THE GATE (RVR WAS 700-800 FT) ONTO TXWY B. WELL, THE FIRST PINK SPOT WE CAME TO WAS SPOT 11 WHICH IMMEDIATELY BLEW MY MIND BECAUSE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON TXWY B WELL S OF A TERMINAL. THANKFULLY, I COULD BARELY MAKE OUT ANOTHER CARRIER JET AT THE GATE, WHICH I KNEW WAS IN THE X CONCOURSE AND WE SAFELY NAVED OUR WAY TO OUR GATE. THE PROB IS THAT THE SMGCS COMMERCIAL CHART DATED FEB/FRI/04 (ALTHOUGH CURRENT) DOES NOT MATCH THE ACTUAL ARPT MARKINGS. I ASKED THE GND CTLR ON THE TAXI OUT ABOUT THAT AND HE SAID THE MARKINGS ON THE ARPT HAD BEEN CHANGED, BUT THE 10-9A DID NOT CURRENTLY REFLECT IT. MAYBE AN ASAP ALERT, DISPATCH NOTE/REMARK FOR INBOUNDS/OUTBOUNDS TO SEA WOULD BE IN ORDER UNTIL THE CHART MAKERS CATCH UP. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RESPONSIBLE AGENCIES ARE NOW AWARE OF THE PROB. TEMPORARY LOW VISIBILITY TAXI PROCS ARE IN EFFECT FOR SEA UNTIL THE MARKINGS AND CHARTS ARE MADE COMPATIBLE.
