Narrative:
Pilot report of taxiway centerline lights being too bright. New taxiway centerline lights installed two years ago. They are much brighter than the lights replaced. I have received numerous complaints from pilots since the new centerline lights were installed. Some pilots complain the lights are blinding. Airport management was advised of the problem. Airport management response is that the new lights are the new standard for airport lighting. Taxiway centerline lights are too bright. Pilot complained lights are washing out taxiway signs. Lights were set on step one. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated he has received numerous reports from pilots complaining the taxiway centerline lights are too bright on the lowest setting.
