Narrative:
Landed on runway 12, turned onto runway 27 to back-taxi to FSS/FBO, assumed that runway was inactive and was trying to leave runway quickly. Should have waited for taxi instructions. Upon leaving, was told to taxi to runway 12. Lack of familiarity with twred runway procedures, I misinterpreted lack of currency and practice on controled field operations and pilot fatigue was the major factor for this event. I will be making an effort to spend some time on studying the aim again. I will also consider recurrency training as part of the wings program.
