Narrative:

On dec/tue/04, I worked on aircraft X left wing flap xmissions service as part of A-4 check. Aircraft left hangar for flight in the morning of dec/wed/04 and overnighted in ZZZ. On the morning of 12/thu/04, maintenance found a pair of duckbill pliers had punctured a hole in the #1 flap forward fairing. Upon returning back to work on dec/tue/04, it was brought to my attention what had happened. After inventory of my tools, I noticed a pair of duckbill pliers missing. On the morning of dec/wed/04, I inventoried my tools after my job was complete, and I did not notice a pair of duckbill pliers missing.
