Narrative:

The situation surrounding these nose tire changes was one of time pressure. I remember having to be very firm with the food caterers trying to pull up to the aircraft where I was working in the tires. I let them know they would not be pulling up while the tires were being changed. The first officer was doing his walkaround at the same time and stopped to inquire what was going on. His appearance was one of distressed concern as to whether we would be done in time for departure. Mr X and I worked the write-up. The aircraft was being prepared for a turnaround. We were shorthanded on shift. Mr X and I had made the agreement to help each other with our respective nose tire changes. In the rush; I do not recall getting the tags together with the logbook. I missed the documenting in the mix of the events. During my investigation of this as soon as possible report; I learned that the nose tires removed from aircraft X on jan/fri/05 were still in ZZZ. They were deflated and placed in the unsvcable return for repair area just as we had left them. Subsequently; my manager went into maintenance computer and entered the data to the log page.
