Narrative:

I was pilot flying. We were direct hro. We were both looking at our flight plan to determine how late we were. I looked up and the aircraft was in a nearly 30 bank turn to the right. I quickly disconnected the autoplt and turned left back on course. The first officer noticed that the turn knob was turned fully to the right. One of us had bumped it unknowingly. The amber tknb annunciation is no longer displayed on the pfd. Supplemental information from acn 648200: I noticed that the turn knob was turned to the full right and may have inadvertently bumped this control. I have seen this happen before. I believe that the detent is too soft.
