Narrative:
In operations at ZZZ; it was noted on the deferred item list that the green left aileron servo was inoperative'ed that morning in lga; deferral #X. During pushback and start in ZZZ; it was noted that the amber box on the flight/control page indicated that the blue servo was inoperative. Talked to maintenance and returned to the gate. Maintenance advised me that the wrong connector on the left aileron had been disconnected.

Title: AN A320 HAD L GREEN AILERON SERVO DEFERRED AS INOP PER THE MEL. DURING PUSHBACK; FLT CTL PAGE INDICATED BLUE SERVO INOP.
Narrative: IN OPS AT ZZZ; IT WAS NOTED ON THE DEFERRED ITEM LIST THAT THE GREEN L AILERON SERVO WAS INOP'ED THAT MORNING IN LGA; DEFERRAL #X. DURING PUSHBACK AND START IN ZZZ; IT WAS NOTED THAT THE AMBER BOX ON THE FLT/CTL PAGE INDICATED THAT THE BLUE SERVO WAS INOP. TALKED TO MAINT AND RETURNED TO THE GATE. MAINT ADVISED ME THAT THE WRONG CONNECTOR ON THE L AILERON HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED.
