Narrative:

While boarding flight; captain noticed battery charger circuit breaker was popped. ZZZ maintenance was contacted and a new battery charger was installed. The work was completed and the maintenance logbook signed off. On mar/sat/05; we were informed by the captain who took our airplane in ZZZ that the battery charger was installed incorrectly. Due to the fact that this was a through flight in ZZZ; the emergency electrical power portion of the checklist was not required to be completed. We continued on to ZZZ with no other abnormalities.
