Narrative:
On the mar/tue/05; aircraft was scheduled for 'C' check. I was assigned to the main landing gears. After it came into the hangar; I inspected the tires and found the #2 main tire was worn to limits. I noticed that the inspector that was assigned to the gear standing near the plane; so I asked him to write it up and he said ok. I continued with routine and non routine maintenance. After approximately 3 hours; I changed the tire. At the end of shift; I went up and signed off remaining paperwork. After I got home; I realized I didn't sign off the tire ('nr'). When I got in to work mar/wed/05; I asked the guys I was working with if they signed it off. They said they hadn't. Then I asked the inspector if he wrote it up; he said he had not. I told my supervisor about the problem. I then wrote an 'nr' for the tire and gave it to be added to the paperwork package in ZZZ1.
