Narrative:
Found crack on left leading edge wing at #4 stabilizer outboard auxiliary track cutout. Placed on deferred item project #xxxxx per srm 57-41-01. Upon re-inspection of damage area (xx) apr/sun/05, found to be improperly signed off per the above srm. I did not remember if I originally signed this off. Wrote up damage as being out of limits per srm 57-41-01 and placed on deferred item project to be repaired within 10 days per engineering deferral authority/authorized. On apr/tue/05 received a copy of log page #xxxxxxxx that shows that I did originally sign off the log page on aug/tue/04. So I am filing this report at this time.
