Narrative:
I rarely departure runway 24 teb due to noise abatement. I interpreted the teb 5 departure incorrectly and executed climb to 2000 ft before 4.5 DME. Apparently this happens often according to ATC. A simplified procedure may help reduce incursions such as this.
