Narrative:
ASOS reported clear; and pilots who recently went up reported clear and able to practice IAP in VFR. I decided to go up and practice some IAP in VFR conditions without an IFR clearance. On an IAP; I accidentally went into the clouds since I was unable to see them. I then made a 180 degree turn (I was familiar with area and terrain) to get back into VMC.
