Narrative:
On aug/thu/05; aircraft X reported an air turnback to ZZZ1 and found #3 brake line detached. I am entering a statement on aircraft X #3 brake that was changed on aug/wed/05. The brake line in question was installed and leak checked at 3000 psi hydraulic pressure per maintenance manuals. Myself and a fellow mechanic worked on this brake. He installed the line then proceeded to cockpit to apply pressure for leak check. I observed no leaks. I also saw and heard the brake engage. I don't know what happened with this reported event; but feel that we followed instructions to the letters.
