Narrative:
On aug/tue/05 I was walking past aircraft X when I noticed a piece of speed tape on the nose gear right forward door. There was no sticker on for damage file reference. So I asked my lead if he could check on it if it was in the damage file and it was not. The aircraft was in for a couple of days for a cargo stringer repair so we could repair this too. I proceeded to repair the damage as per the srm 51-70-05. While I was repairing this damage; my manager asked me why we (the composite shop) were working this line aircraft and I told him how I found the damage and how the line came over to write it up. A couple of hours later my foreman asked me how we found this damage; and I told him the same as I told my manager. He proceeded to tell me that my foreman told him that I was deliberately trying to ground aircraft and if it wasn't my job; I shouldn't be looking at it. I ignored this accusation against me and continued the repair. After the repair was done; I tap tested it and it tap tested good. Inspection was also involved and the 'disbond' check that they did also tested good. I then sealed the repair; primed it and painted it all in accordance with srm reference 51-70-05 and signed the logbook.
