Title: ZDC CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR AT FL270 WHEN DROPPING DATA BLOCK PRIOR TO ACFT DEPARTING HIS OR HER AIRSPACE.
Narrative: ACFT #1 WAS LEVEL AT FL270 AND THE DATA WAS INADVERTENTLY DROPPED. ACFT #2 WAS DSNDED THROUGH ACFT #1. DATA BLOCKS SHOULD BE KEPT IN YOUR SCOPE UNTIL THEY LEAVE YOUR AIRSPACE.
