Narrative:
On visual approach to runway 17R we received a TA. The TA then progressed to an RA advising us to climb. I climbed the aircraft and then obtained visual confirmation of the intruder aircraft. It was an rj which was cleared for runway 18L; but was crossing our final for runway 17R. We followed the instructions of the TCAS until we were clear of the conflict.
