Narrative:

Cleared to ferry; gear down. Upon landing; the spoilers did not automatic deploy. System-wise; I think; the spoiler system stays in the takeoff mode until the gear handle is raised. The aircraft was cleared to ferry based on a ferry approval; not an MEL. The approval message only directed that the gear remain down; as such; there wasn't a referral to alert us that the spoilers would not deploy upon landing. Additionally; the paperwork did not contain the landing distance penalty appropriate when landing with manual spoilers nor was there any awareness at dispatch regarding system degradation in this confign. While my outcome was uneventful; it would have been nice to have had a reference to review prior to flight.
