Narrative:
Aircraft a was given clearance to descend to FL370. Controller missed bad readback of FL360 from air carrier X. Separation was lost; 2 planes were diverging at the time. There was a lot of coordination done with adjoining sectors to accommodate numerous pilot requests for altitude change due to turbulence.

Title: ZDC CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR AT FL360 WHEN INCORRECT ALT ASSIGNMENT READBACK WAS MISSED.
Narrative: ACFT A WAS GIVEN CLRNC TO DSND TO FL370. CTLR MISSED BAD READBACK OF FL360 FROM ACR X. SEPARATION WAS LOST; 2 PLANES WERE DIVERGING AT THE TIME. THERE WAS A LOT OF COORD DONE WITH ADJOINING SECTORS TO ACCOMMODATE NUMEROUS PLT REQUESTS FOR ALT CHANGE DUE TO TURB.
