Narrative:
A320 wbound at FL340 J60 request FL360. I turned A320 10 degrees left and climbed to FL350. A320 read back FL360 but I missed it. I called traffic for A320 'at 6 O'clock position and 2 1/2 mi; wbound FL360.' I told A320 I'd have higher once he cleared the traffic at FL360. Conflict alert activated once A320 climbed above FL350. I descended A320 to FL350.

Title: ZOB CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR AT FL355 WHEN INCORRECT ALT ASSIGNMENT READBACK WAS MISSED AND CONFLICT DEVELOPED.
Narrative: A320 WBOUND AT FL340 J60 REQUEST FL360. I TURNED A320 10 DEGS L AND CLBED TO FL350. A320 READ BACK FL360 BUT I MISSED IT. I CALLED TFC FOR A320 'AT 6 O'CLOCK POS AND 2 1/2 MI; WBOUND FL360.' I TOLD A320 I'D HAVE HIGHER ONCE HE CLRED THE TFC AT FL360. CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED ONCE A320 CLBED ABOVE FL350. I DSNDED A320 TO FL350.
