Narrative:

I was parked with the parking brake on at taxiway B just past the intersection of papa. I was facing nwbound. The cockpit crew felt a jolt. We observed that a CRJ200 was next to us on the starboard side. The first officer said that the CRJ200 had struck our wing with his wing. I feathered the #2 engine. I asked the first officer to look for leaking fuel. Then I asked the flight attendant the same question after informing her of the situation. Both crew members stated that no fuel was seen leaking from the aircraft. The first officer stated that the crj's left main wheels were on the taxiway centerline of papa. He also said that he could see the winglet of the crj was embedded in our right wing. I then informed ground that we had a collision on the ground. I requested no assistance except that someone might want to follow us just in case aircraft debris fell off our aircraft. I instructed the first officer to let operations know that we had a taxiway incursion and we would be returning to the gate. I briefed the flight attendant that we would return to the gate. She stated that no passenger were injured. The #2 engine was un-feathered and we returned to the gate escorted by port authority/authorized. As we returned to the gate; I had the first officer look for leaking fuel. Once parked at the gate the passenger returned to the terminal. The first officer and flight attendant saw the crj's winglet stuck in our right aileron. All crew members and an unidented number of passenger felt the impact. The crj captain felt it was necessary to go by our aircraft even though it meant going off the taxiway centerline.
