Narrative:
I was working the meachum north sector from XA30Z-XB23Z. I released air carrier X from the dfw airport. I radar idented air carrier X and instructed the aircraft to maintain 4000 ft. I then proceeded with other ATC duties and aircraft. I later instructed air carrier X to climb and maintain 7000 ft. After proceeding with other ATC duties; I then noticed air carrier Y in close proximity of air carrier X. I then turned air carrier X immediately to the right. After passing; I turned air carrier X on course and switched frequencys.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING THE MEACHUM N SECTOR FROM XA30Z-XB23Z. I RELEASED ACR X FROM THE DFW ARPT. I RADAR IDENTED ACR X AND INSTRUCTED THE ACFT TO MAINTAIN 4000 FT. I THEN PROCEEDED WITH OTHER ATC DUTIES AND ACFT. I LATER INSTRUCTED ACR X TO CLB AND MAINTAIN 7000 FT. AFTER PROCEEDING WITH OTHER ATC DUTIES; I THEN NOTICED ACR Y IN CLOSE PROX OF ACR X. I THEN TURNED ACR X IMMEDIATELY TO THE R. AFTER PASSING; I TURNED ACR X ON COURSE AND SWITCHED FREQS.
