Narrative:
Landing on runway 15 at btv which had 2320+ ft of runway closed due to construction. The approach was stable and normal per our SOP with the correct airspeed and descent rate. From my perspective there was never any indication we would land anywhere else other than the first usable portion of the runway. Construction crew working on the closed portion of the runway said we had landed just inside the temporary line marking the beginning of the runway; breaking an electrical line stretching across the runway. The temporary markings did not appear standard and were not easily identifiable. The tower stated that the electrical line had been broken several times before from the jetblast of departing aircraft. Supplemental information from acn 693229: unfortunately we touched down on a conduit that the personnel had laid across the runway just before the line and shred it. There was no damage to the aircraft.

Title: EMB145 FLT CREW WHILE ON APCH TO A RWY WITH A DISPLACED THRESHOLD DUE TO CONSTRUCTION; LANDS SHORT AND CONTACTS AN ELECTRICAL CONDUIT.
Narrative: LNDG ON RWY 15 AT BTV WHICH HAD 2320+ FT OF RWY CLOSED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION. THE APCH WAS STABLE AND NORMAL PER OUR SOP WITH THE CORRECT AIRSPD AND DSCNT RATE. FROM MY PERSPECTIVE THERE WAS NEVER ANY INDICATION WE WOULD LAND ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN THE FIRST USABLE PORTION OF THE RWY. CONSTRUCTION CREW WORKING ON THE CLOSED PORTION OF THE RWY SAID WE HAD LANDED JUST INSIDE THE TEMPORARY LINE MARKING THE BEGINNING OF THE RWY; BREAKING AN ELECTRICAL LINE STRETCHING ACROSS THE RWY. THE TEMPORARY MARKINGS DID NOT APPEAR STANDARD AND WERE NOT EASILY IDENTIFIABLE. THE TWR STATED THAT THE ELECTRICAL LINE HAD BEEN BROKEN SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE FROM THE JETBLAST OF DEPARTING ACFT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 693229: UNFORTUNATELY WE TOUCHED DOWN ON A CONDUIT THAT THE PERSONNEL HAD LAID ACROSS THE RWY JUST BEFORE THE LINE AND SHRED IT. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE ACFT.
