Narrative:
Seat belt sign was on for about 15-20 mins; during descent and leveloff at 10000 ft; clouds ahead looked bumpy so we advised the flight attendant that there would be turbulence. The flight attendant made an additional PA about turbulence. The passenger then got up to use the lavatory. While she was exiting the lavatory; we entered a cloud and experienced turbulence. The passenger fell and broke her ankle. Company was called to have paramedics ready. We were only 10 mins from landing and expedited the arrival with no emergency declared. Normal landing and expedited taxi to the gate where paramedics were waiting.
