Narrative:

After pushback park brake was set per pushback crew request. After briefly looking away; I noticed brake pressure indicating zero. Immediately I stepped on the brakes while looking at the handle and seeing that it was in the 'parking brake on' position. At the same time that I was depressing the pedal brakes I heard the ground crew say repeatedly to set the brakes. The aircraft came to a sudden stop as I released the parking brake handle to 'off' while holding the pedal brakes. There were no injuries nor damage to ground equipment. The aircraft had began to roll prior to salute and release. Supplemental information from acn 700715: we cycled the brake a few times with the system in normal and using the yellow system and all the system where working ok. The flight continued with no other problems.
