Narrative:

The FA50 departed sna. The C56X departed in trail and was instructed to 'maintain visual separation' from the FA50. The aircraft were initially the same heading; but on different departure sids. The FA50 pilot had set the aircraft for a noise abatement type climb. As a result the C65X passed the FA50 about 8 NM south of the airport. The sna noise abatement is antiquated and potentially dangerous.
