Narrative:

While on a visual final approach the flaps would not extend past 25 degrees. I elected to do a go around and clean the airplane up. We ran the appropriate checklist for the flap malfunction; coordinated with operations/dispatch; ATC and the flight attendants. Computed landing data for a flaps 15 degree landing and declared an emergency with ATC. We reconfigured the aircraft with gear and flaps 25 degrees. We had an uneventful landing.
