Narrative:
Departing teb runway 24 teb 5 departure at XA22. During level off at 1500 ft initial altitude an attempt to engage autoplt resulted in an inadvertent high level off at 1800 ft. ATC brought it to our attention and altitude was corrected immediately.

Title: A C560 DEPARTING ON TEB 5 WHILE ATTEMPTING AN AUTOPLT ENGAGEMENT LEVELED AT 1800 FT THEN CORRECTED BACK TO 1500 FT.
Narrative: DEPARTING TEB RWY 24 TEB 5 DEP AT XA22. DURING LEVEL OFF AT 1500 FT INITIAL ALTITUDE AN ATTEMPT TO ENGAGE AUTOPLT RESULTED IN AN INADVERTENT HIGH LEVEL OFF AT 1800 FT. ATC BROUGHT IT TO OUR ATTENTION AND ALT WAS CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY.
