Narrative:
Landed at lax on runway 25L. Upon rollout; deployed left thrust reverser; which was inoperative due to MEL. Got associated left reverser inoperative caution message. Exited to the right on high speed taxiway M. As I was distraction looking down and stowing reversers; I was unaware that I had cleared the runway 25L hold line. I saw the runway 25R hold sign and reacted by crossing it; thinking I still had to clear the runway 25L line. I then stopped short of runway 25R; a few ft short of the runway boundary line. A turboprop was departing at the time; and passed in front of us and above us. Aside from my mistake; I would like to express my concern for the poorly visible hold lines. With no center taxiway; I would think flashing yellow lights would help create a more visible cue. Also; there is poor contrast between the painted line and pavement. Supplemental information from acn 705032: the tower then cleared us to cross runway 25R and to contact ground. Upon contacting ground; we were given a taxi clearance and we were notified to contact the tower by telephone.

Title: CRJ200 FLT CREW HAS A RWY INCURSION ON RWY 25R AND LAX.
Narrative: LANDED AT LAX ON RWY 25L. UPON ROLLOUT; DEPLOYED L THRUST REVERSER; WHICH WAS INOP DUE TO MEL. GOT ASSOCIATED L REVERSER INOP CAUTION MESSAGE. EXITED TO THE R ON HIGH SPD TXWY M. AS I WAS DISTR LOOKING DOWN AND STOWING REVERSERS; I WAS UNAWARE THAT I HAD CLRED THE RWY 25L HOLD LINE. I SAW THE RWY 25R HOLD SIGN AND REACTED BY XING IT; THINKING I STILL HAD TO CLR THE RWY 25L LINE. I THEN STOPPED SHORT OF RWY 25R; A FEW FT SHORT OF THE RWY BOUNDARY LINE. A TURBOPROP WAS DEPARTING AT THE TIME; AND PASSED IN FRONT OF US AND ABOVE US. ASIDE FROM MY MISTAKE; I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY CONCERN FOR THE POORLY VISIBLE HOLD LINES. WITH NO CTR TXWY; I WOULD THINK FLASHING YELLOW LIGHTS WOULD HELP CREATE A MORE VISIBLE CUE. ALSO; THERE IS POOR CONTRAST BTWN THE PAINTED LINE AND PAVEMENT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 705032: THE TWR THEN CLRED US TO CROSS RWY 25R AND TO CONTACT GND. UPON CONTACTING GND; WE WERE GIVEN A TAXI CLRNC AND WE WERE NOTIFIED TO CONTACT THE TWR BY TELEPHONE.
