Narrative:
Tire carts were recently changed over to accommodate the increase in -700's tire right&right's. I can't recall if I grabbed the -300 tire cart by mistake. Regardless; I should have at least doublechked the effectivity on the parts tags or even sidewall identify numbers! Due to time constraints; I guess my attention to detail/situational awareness was not kept in check! We are all up to speed on which carts contain what series of tires based on the color of tire carts! (Memo was issued.) I know that doesn't mean the wrong tires can't be mistakenly placed on them! It is still my responsibility to check effectivity/sidewall identify numbers on tag prior to installation on any aircraft.

Title: A B737-700 WAS DISPATCHED WITH B737-300 NOSEWHEEL AND TIRE ASSEMBLIES INSTALLED.
Narrative: TIRE CARTS WERE RECENTLY CHANGED OVER TO ACCOMMODATE THE INCREASE IN -700'S TIRE R&R'S. I CAN'T RECALL IF I GRABBED THE -300 TIRE CART BY MISTAKE. REGARDLESS; I SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST DOUBLECHKED THE EFFECTIVITY ON THE PARTS TAGS OR EVEN SIDEWALL IDENT NUMBERS! DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS; I GUESS MY ATTN TO DETAIL/SITUATIONAL AWARENESS WAS NOT KEPT IN CHK! WE ARE ALL UP TO SPEED ON WHICH CARTS CONTAIN WHAT SERIES OF TIRES BASED ON THE COLOR OF TIRE CARTS! (MEMO WAS ISSUED.) I KNOW THAT DOESN'T MEAN THE WRONG TIRES CAN'T BE MISTAKENLY PLACED ON THEM! IT IS STILL MY RESPONSIBILITY TO CHK EFFECTIVITY/SIDEWALL IDENT NUMBERS ON TAG PRIOR TO INSTALLATION ON ANY ACFT.
