Narrative:
On climb out; lost the #2 engine. Declared an emergency. Followed the immediate action checklist for left (right) engine fire message or severe engine damage (in-flight); completed QRH emergency left (right) engine fire message or severe engine damage (in-flight); completed QRH abnormal single engine procedures; completed QRH abnormal single engine approach and landing. Returned to ZZZ and landing was uneventful. The aircraft was met by crash fire rescue equipment personnel who inspected the aircraft. After the confirmation from the crash fire rescue equipment personnel that there was no danger to the passenger; they were deplaned and escorted safely to the terminal.

Title: A CL65 LOST AN ENG ON CLBOUT. THE FLT CREW DECLARED AN EMER AND RETURN TO LAND.
Narrative: ON CLBOUT; LOST THE #2 ENG. DECLARED AN EMER. FOLLOWED THE IMMEDIATE ACTION CHKLIST FOR L (R) ENG FIRE MESSAGE OR SEVERE ENG DAMAGE (INFLT); COMPLETED QRH EMER L (R) ENG FIRE MESSAGE OR SEVERE ENG DAMAGE (INFLT); COMPLETED QRH ABNORMAL SINGLE ENG PROCS; COMPLETED QRH ABNORMAL SINGLE ENG APCH AND LNDG. RETURNED TO ZZZ AND LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL. THE ACFT WAS MET BY CFR PERSONNEL WHO INSPECTED THE ACFT. AFTER THE CONFIRMATION FROM THE CFR PERSONNEL THAT THERE WAS NO DANGER TO THE PAX; THEY WERE DEPLANED AND ESCORTED SAFELY TO THE TERMINAL.
