Narrative:
Escape slide retaining spring locks are stuck open. I have found 3 such incidents and I am not looking for them. I will be in the future. If you have never seen a slide deployed go see one. My concern is that as a slide deploys with one or both spring locks stuck the slide retainer bar will bounce out. The slide will not only be unusable but now there is hole for people to fall out. I have only seen this problem on the L1 door which makes sense as this door has the most traffic. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated a report was submitted on the 3 girt bar floor lock springs and maintenance was advised and the locks and springs were cleaned. The reporter was contacted by maintenance planning and the situation was discussed and the frequency of cleaning may be increased.
