Narrative:
During descent through approximately FL200 we received an 'engine oil pressure' EICAS. #2 engine oil quantity appeared to be decreasing rapidly and unusual engine vibration was noted. We executed the appropriate checklist that required an engine shutdown. After completing the initial checklist (engine oil pressure) we declared an emergency with center and were given a vector toward the airfield. We notified the purser and issued a cabin advisory. We then completed the emergency checklist procedures and normal descent and landing checklist procedures. An uneventful approach and landing was flown. We taxied to the gate and performed a normal shutdown in accordance with SOP.
