Narrative:

Upon flap extension for landing; the #4 leading edge flap failed to properly extend. We went around recycled the flaps; the light went out and we landed without incident. As the PF; my aircraft control was not the best. My altitude deviated while on vectors around for landing as well as while dealing with the incident varied by 200 ft. This I feel was due to my extremely long crew duty day of 14+ hours and the lack of concern for my sleep cycles over the past several months by crew planning and crew scheduling. I'm tired and spent. Better maintenance. Come on; let's spend some money to maintain the planes. Proper staffing so that the pilots on reserve aren't staffing the airline and being utilized for 15 hours a day; 5 days a week.
