Narrative:
I was passenger on right seat. PIC departed eagle creek en route to angela in new 2006 loaner C-6 with glass display. As we climbed through 2600 ft; I asked about the TCA ht as shown on moving map. PIC didn't know and tried to get information from display which worked differently than his turboprop. I flew (steered) to keep us level while he checked. He (PIC) then verified we were within or passing through TCA. I advised him to file ASRS and am also filing one; as I was keeping plane level after TCA incursion while PIC checked on TCA boundaries. PIC operated without flight plan and failed to define TCA boundaries and was not in advance radio contact. Unfamiliarity with this aircraft glass display delayed getting information.
