Narrative:
After pushback and before taxi; with the push crew already released; we received our final weights. The final weights message notified us that we had dangerous goods on board. This was our only indication as such; as we had not been given a dangerous goods form. We called ZZZ operations and inquired. We were told that the ramp personnel had put on a life vest in pit 5 but had not forwarded the form. The operations agent stated that she had the required information and said she would relay it verbally. The captain reviewed the information and determined that since the final destination of the life vest was ZZZ1 and we had all the information; we were ok to depart. I agreed. After takeoff and out of sterile cockpit; we discussed what had transpired. Even though we had all the information that was on the dangerous goods form; we had doubts as to whether we should've gone back to the gate for the form. We couldn't think of one thing that would've benefited us by returning to the gate. However; we weren't sure since we could find no guidance from the fom on this particular circumstance. I will note that this is the 2ND time for me in a matter of weeks that dangerous goods have been boarded and the required paperwork was not brought to the cockpit.
