Narrative:

Ccs tower cleared us into position and hold for runway 10. As we approached the runway tower told us to hold position. We stopped. Controller asked if we were on the runway. We said no; but we were past the hold line; just short of the runway. Tower had us hold and asked air carrier Y if they had room for landing. They said yes; then gave them landing clearance.

Narrative: CCS TWR CLRED US INTO POS AND HOLD FOR RWY 10. AS WE APCHED THE RWY TWR TOLD US TO HOLD POS. WE STOPPED. CTLR ASKED IF WE WERE ON THE RWY. WE SAID NO; BUT WE WERE PAST THE HOLD LINE; JUST SHORT OF THE RWY. TWR HAD US HOLD AND ASKED ACR Y IF THEY HAD ROOM FOR LNDG. THEY SAID YES; THEN GAVE THEM LNDG CLRNC.
