Narrative:
I was approaching eko from the south for a right base to runway 5. I improperly set my radios and all the position reports I had transmitted were; in fact; not broadcast over the CTAF frequency. I reported at 20; 15; 10; 5 mi south of the airport and on base and turning to final. I landed and was slowing down when I saw the C172 rotate and sidestep to the north side of the runway to avoid me. He continued his climb and flew away. I noticed my radio improperly set after I taxied off runway 5 and was securing my plane. I immediately called the airport manager and informed him of the incident.
