Narrative:
This report is in reference to deferred item XXX and MEL card YYY. The #3 spoiler system was deferred in addition to 4 other deferred items. Part of the deferral is a penalty for takeoff and landing which we were aware of. We tried to pull up the takeoff data on the ACARS and were unable. We had to contact dispatch to give us the numbers because with this deferral dispatch has to manually enter the penalty into the numbers. We received the takeoff data for runway 25. The takeoff data included reduced thrust information and we used flaps 1 reduced power of 40 degrees. Takeoff was uneventful. After landing in las I was reviewing the MEL card to brief the outbound captain and noticed a single line in a list of many items involved with this deferral and with the other 4 deferrals on the airplane. The single line stated that a toga takeoff was required with a spoiler 3 fault deferral. I would suggest that in the future if a reduced thrust takeoff is not allowed then the takeoff data should read na for reduced takeoff. Our data listed reduced thrust information and we used it.

Narrative: THIS RPT IS IN REF TO DEFERRED ITEM XXX AND MEL CARD YYY. THE #3 SPOILER SYS WAS DEFERRED IN ADDITION TO 4 OTHER DEFERRED ITEMS. PART OF THE DEFERRAL IS A PENALTY FOR TKOF AND LNDG WHICH WE WERE AWARE OF. WE TRIED TO PULL UP THE TKOF DATA ON THE ACARS AND WERE UNABLE. WE HAD TO CONTACT DISPATCH TO GIVE US THE NUMBERS BECAUSE WITH THIS DEFERRAL DISPATCH HAS TO MANUALLY ENTER THE PENALTY INTO THE NUMBERS. WE RECEIVED THE TKOF DATA FOR RWY 25. THE TKOF DATA INCLUDED REDUCED THRUST INFO AND WE USED FLAPS 1 REDUCED PWR OF 40 DEGS. TKOF WAS UNEVENTFUL. AFTER LNDG IN LAS I WAS REVIEWING THE MEL CARD TO BRIEF THE OUTBOUND CAPT AND NOTICED A SINGLE LINE IN A LIST OF MANY ITEMS INVOLVED WITH THIS DEFERRAL AND WITH THE OTHER 4 DEFERRALS ON THE AIRPLANE. THE SINGLE LINE STATED THAT A TOGA TKOF WAS REQUIRED WITH A SPOILER 3 FAULT DEFERRAL. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT IN THE FUTURE IF A REDUCED THRUST TKOF IS NOT ALLOWED THEN THE TKOF DATA SHOULD READ NA FOR REDUCED TKOF. OUR DATA LISTED REDUCED THRUST INFO AND WE USED IT.
