Narrative:
Cleared for takeoff and began takeoff roll at approximately 50 KTS. Nose gear retracted into wheel well and aircraft contacted the surface. Damage to aircraft: dual propeller strikes; nose cone destroyed; nose gear doors and linkage destroyed. Closed runway for approximately 2 1/2 hours. Airport crew could not locate disabled aircraft recovery trailer.

Title: BEECH DUCHESS BE76 PLT HAS THE NOSE GEAR RETRACT ON TKOF AND THE ACFT SKIDS TO A STOP.
Narrative: CLRED FOR TKOF AND BEGAN TKOF ROLL AT APPROX 50 KTS. NOSE GEAR RETRACTED INTO WHEEL WELL AND ACFT CONTACTED THE SURFACE. DAMAGE TO ACFT: DUAL PROP STRIKES; NOSE CONE DESTROYED; NOSE GEAR DOORS AND LINKAGE DESTROYED. CLOSED RWY FOR APPROX 2 1/2 HRS. ARPT CREW COULD NOT LOCATE DISABLED ACFT RECOVERY TRAILER.
