Narrative:
While departing out of ZZZ on the climb; we encountered moderate turbulence and heavy precipitation on the climb out. About 20000 ft we heard a thud and received excessive aircraft vibration. ATC cleared us to FL450. At 21000-22000 ft we level off and slowed the aircraft. We did not declare an emergency and diverted. We had a normal approach and landing. Upon arrival we had numerous fire equipment standing by at the airport. We noticed the fuel panel access door was bent back against the side of the aircraft. Both pilots observe the fueler properly close the fuel door.
