Narrative:
Had #1 autoplt go inoperative on inbound flight. When mrd came for subsequent leg it did not contain any placard information. It should be on there. Had to pull the MEL card in order to retrieve the information (turn CAT III placard over; other autoplt must be operable; no CAT ii; III approachs; etc).

Title: B737-300 FLT CREW HAS INCORRECT MEL FOR AUTOPLT INOP.
Narrative: HAD #1 AUTOPLT GO INOP ON INBOUND FLT. WHEN MRD CAME FOR SUBSEQUENT LEG IT DID NOT CONTAIN ANY PLACARD INFO. IT SHOULD BE ON THERE. HAD TO PULL THE MEL CARD IN ORDER TO RETRIEVE THE INFO (TURN CAT III PLACARD OVER; OTHER AUTOPLT MUST BE OPERABLE; NO CAT II; III APCHS; ETC).
