Narrative:
On aircraft X (contract aircraft) I installed the fan filter and recirculating fan. I did not install the insulation on the aft bulkhead; and do not remember closing the aft bulkhead panel. After install of recirculating fan; I was told not to install panels on the aft bulkhead; so they could do pressure checks.

Title: AN MD80 EXPERIENCED AN ENG THRUST LEVER CTL QUADRANT STUCK; CAUSED BY AFT BULKHEAD LOOSE INSULATION IN AREA OF RECIRCULATION FAN.
Narrative: ON ACFT X (CONTRACT ACFT) I INSTALLED THE FAN FILTER AND RECIRCULATING FAN. I DID NOT INSTALL THE INSULATION ON THE AFT BULKHEAD; AND DO NOT REMEMBER CLOSING THE AFT BULKHEAD PANEL. AFTER INSTALL OF RECIRCULATING FAN; I WAS TOLD NOT TO INSTALL PANELS ON THE AFT BULKHEAD; SO THEY COULD DO PRESSURE CHKS.
