Narrative:
Upon arrival on approach control; we received flaps fail caution message. Flaps failed at zero. Ran QRH. Advised ATC and declared an emergency due to high approach speed. We notified dispatch through operations and received our landing distance for the procedure. Landing was successful without incident.

Title: CRJ-100 FLT CREW HAS A FLAP MALFUNCTION DURING APCH; DECLARES EMER AND LANDS.
Narrative: UPON ARR ON APCH CTL; WE RECEIVED FLAPS FAIL CAUTION MESSAGE. FLAPS FAILED AT ZERO. RAN QRH. ADVISED ATC AND DECLARED AN EMER DUE TO HIGH APCH SPD. WE NOTIFIED DISPATCH THROUGH OPS AND RECEIVED OUR LNDG DISTANCE FOR THE PROC. LNDG WAS SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT INCIDENT.
