Narrative:

Flap/slat extension indicated a leading edge slat disagreement. We were vectored back to a 20 mi final while aircraft was configured as per cockpit operating manual for a 0 slat/35 degree flap landing. Due to large increase in landing speed required for this procedure, an emergency was declared for emergency equipment to stand by.

Title: LEADING EDGE SLAT MALFUNCTION DURING APCH. FLC DECLARED EMER, WERE VECTORED FOR TIME TO CONFIGURE FOR SLAT-FLAP PROB AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY.

Narrative: FLAP/SLAT EXTENSION INDICATED A LEADING EDGE SLAT DISAGREEMENT.
