Narrative:

During the preflight; we noticed that the left hydraulic pressure was slow to depressurize after the pumps were turned off. Maintenance came out and put the item on placard. We got the maintenance logbook back at around departure time. We were also being deiced at that time. An obviously too quick of a review of the maintenance logbook followed by me. Maintenance had placarded the wrong item and we departed with an item that was non-placardable. I came to that conclusion airborne and called maintenance at ZZZ1. They corrected the item. A couple of things I need to do in the future to avoid the same mistake. Make my write-up so nothing can be misinterpreted. And take a deep breath at the gate at times when everything is happening at the same time.
