Narrative:

On departure from oakland on the skyline 3; we climbed through the 2000 ft till 4 NM limit. On initial contact we checked in passing 1.6 for 10000 ft; no negative reply from ATC. Passing 2.7K ATC called to remove 2000 ft limit and said; I see you are already climbing to 10000 ft; fine; you're cleared to 10000 ft.' we continued the flight uneventfully. There were no traffic conflicts or immediate vectors. After a closer look at the commercial charts #2 for the departure; we noticed the 2000 ft altitude limit. However; on the pt the verbiage for the 2000 ft limit is written above the line for runway 29. This is very deceiving. We entered the pt at runway 27L/right; runway 29 went over the right for altitude restrs and moved down. This could be presented better on the pt.

Narrative: ON DEP FROM OAKLAND ON THE SKYLINE 3; WE CLBED THROUGH THE 2000 FT TILL 4 NM LIMIT. ON INITIAL CONTACT WE CHKED IN PASSING 1.6 FOR 10000 FT; NO NEGATIVE REPLY FROM ATC. PASSING 2.7K ATC CALLED TO REMOVE 2000 FT LIMIT AND SAID; I SEE YOU ARE ALREADY CLBING TO 10000 FT; FINE; YOU'RE CLRED TO 10000 FT.' WE CONTINUED THE FLT UNEVENTFULLY. THERE WERE NO TFC CONFLICTS OR IMMEDIATE VECTORS. AFTER A CLOSER LOOK AT THE COMMERCIAL CHARTS #2 FOR THE DEP; WE NOTICED THE 2000 FT ALT LIMIT. HOWEVER; ON THE PT THE VERBIAGE FOR THE 2000 FT LIMIT IS WRITTEN ABOVE THE LINE FOR RWY 29. THIS IS VERY DECEIVING. WE ENTERED THE PT AT RWY 27L/R; RWY 29 WENT OVER THE R FOR ALT RESTRS AND MOVED DOWN. THIS COULD BE PRESENTED BETTER ON THE PT.
