Narrative:
Final weights were received onboard aircraft. All normal sops were accomplished. Takeoff was flaps 15 runway 28R sfo. At 5 minutes after takeoff a second set of final weights arrived. The second set said aircraft weighed approximately 18000 pounds more than previous final weights. This resulted in using takeoff speeds for an aircraft which actually weighed 18000 pounds more. Unsafe operation to send wrong weights to aircraft. 1ST final weights were ZFW 394863; tog 592563; mac 27.1. 2ND set of final weights were ZFW 417471; tog 610171; mac 30.0. All sops were followed by experienced aircrew. Concern is that this failure could occur again and aircrew would not know they are using inaccurate weight information.

Title: B777 FLT CREW HAS WRONG WT AND BAL NUMBERS FOR TKOF.
Narrative: FINAL WTS WERE RECEIVED ONBOARD AIRCRAFT. ALL NORMAL SOPS WERE ACCOMPLISHED. TAKEOFF WAS FLAPS 15 RWY 28R SFO. AT 5 MINUTES AFTER TAKEOFF A SECOND SET OF FINAL WEIGHTS ARRIVED. THE SECOND SET SAID AIRCRAFT WEIGHED APPROX 18000 LBS MORE THAN PREVIOUS FINAL WEIGHTS. THIS RESULTED IN USING TAKEOFF SPEEDS FOR AN AIRCRAFT WHICH ACTUALLY WEIGHED 18000 LBS MORE. UNSAFE OPERATION TO SEND WRONG WEIGHTS TO AIRCRAFT. 1ST FINAL WTS WERE ZFW 394863; TOG 592563; MAC 27.1. 2ND SET OF FINAL WEIGHTS WERE ZFW 417471; TOG 610171; MAC 30.0. ALL SOPS WERE FOLLOWED BY EXPERIENCED AIRCREW. CONCERN IS THAT THIS FAILURE COULD OCCUR AGAIN AND AIRCREW WOULD NOT KNOW THEY ARE USING INACCURATE WEIGHT INFORMATION.
