Narrative:
At tus on 4/thu/07 we were given taxi instructions from the south ramp to runway 29R. The instructions were to taxi to runway 29R via taxiway delta; alpha; hold short of runway 29R. During our taxi down delta we confirmed with ATC that we were cleared to runway 29R. ATC confirmed yes taxi to runway 29R hold short of runway 29R. After making the turn from taxiway delta to taxiway alpha we were given a phone number to call do discuss a 'possible pilot deviation.' when we contacted the supervisor we discussed the airport diagram; markings and clearance. We were told that even though taxiway delta does not cross runway 29R; it crosses the safety zone for runway 29R; which is technically the runway. The supervisor was aware that the markings do not show it as runway 29R and that this has happened before. I feel that if this is 'considered the runway' then it should be marked as so. If we were to hold short of the safety zone for runway 29R; the clearance should have been to hold short of runway 11L approach zone as indicated on the airport markings.

Title: A CL60 PLT ON TXWY D RPTS CROSSING THE TUS RWY 11R/29L SAFETY ZONE UNAWARE THAT TXWY D CROSSED ANY RWY BECAUSE NO RWY MARKINGS EXIST.
Narrative: AT TUS ON 4/THU/07 WE WERE GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE S RAMP TO RWY 29R. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE TO TAXI TO RWY 29R VIA TXWY DELTA; ALPHA; HOLD SHORT OF RWY 29R. DURING OUR TAXI DOWN DELTA WE CONFIRMED WITH ATC THAT WE WERE CLRED TO RWY 29R. ATC CONFIRMED YES TAXI TO RWY 29R HOLD SHORT OF RWY 29R. AFTER MAKING THE TURN FROM TXWY DELTA TO TXWY ALPHA WE WERE GIVEN A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL DO DISCUSS A 'POSSIBLE PILOT DEVIATION.' WHEN WE CONTACTED THE SUPVR WE DISCUSSED THE ARPT DIAGRAM; MARKINGS AND CLRNC. WE WERE TOLD THAT EVEN THOUGH TXWY DELTA DOES NOT CROSS RWY 29R; IT CROSSES THE SAFETY ZONE FOR RWY 29R; WHICH IS TECHNICALLY THE RWY. THE SUPVR WAS AWARE THAT THE MARKINGS DO NOT SHOW IT AS RWY 29R AND THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. I FEEL THAT IF THIS IS 'CONSIDERED THE RWY' THEN IT SHOULD BE MARKED AS SO. IF WE WERE TO HOLD SHORT OF THE SAFETY ZONE FOR RWY 29R; THE CLRNC SHOULD HAVE BEEN TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 11L APCH ZONE AS INDICATED ON THE ARPT MARKINGS.
