Narrative:
Flight attendants should not have been up in cabin at all. We were thrown 5 ft in the air; down a foot; then up again; then slammed to the ground from 5 ft. Severe (what I call as I was suspended 4-5 ft midair) turbulence; hard rain; sounded like hail. I landed straight down on my right wrist and right hip; stayed on floor until I crawled to R1 jumpseat. Captain advised of turbulence in 10 mins. This happened in 3 mins from his phone call. PA's were made to passenger to remain seated and buckled in quite a few times; but flight attendants were putting things away. Flight attendants should be in jumpseats if they feel it's unsafe and not serving (on an international flight of 4 or more hours) 40 mins before landing everything should be picked up. 2 passenger in main cabin were injured and also all flight attendants.
